USA TRAVEL GUIDE, “THE SOUTHEAST”

BY CLAY LARROY

Traveling is great personal interests because it will make a more open-minded person when it comes to inter acting with people. It also made it easier to understanding as to why people act the way they do in their own society and in a society as diverse as the U.S. It has long been said that travels “broadens the mind”. Now new evidence proves that jumping on a plane will not only make you smarter, but more open-minded.  When you need to plan a vacation contact me!

The Southeast is known for its spectacular landscapes, from the vibrant foliage of the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee to the mist-shrouded bayous of Louisiana and the beaches of Alabama and Florida. Dig into fresh seafood or mouth-watering barbecue and learn about the region’s rich culture and history from its gracious, welcoming people.
Would you like to settle in the Southeast region by using the natural resources? You could get a job being a farmer, make-up factory worker and/or work in an oil factory too. After work you can change into your bathing suit and go to the Atlantic Ocean and built a sandcastle there. Another thing you can do is go hiking on Smoky Mountains. This is the why people settle in the Southeast region.
The landforms of the Southeast region are all different. Some of the land forms are swamps, rice fields, forests and water.  There are many natural resources in the Southeast region. The natural resources in the Southeast are: ● Tomatoes ● Oranges ● Rice ● Sugarcane ● Grapefruit ● Tobacco ● peanuts ● coal ● peaches ● Cotton and much more. The southeast region grows much of our country’s food.
The climate in the southeast is sometimes very nice and sometimes very bad. It is bad because it has a lot of storms. These are the types of climate in the southeast: ● hurricanes ● tornados ● rains storms ● sunny day’s ● warm day’s ● floods and a lot more. The worst thing that happens in the southeast a tornado.

The Southeast has changed dramatically in the last two generations. Since 1980, there has been a boom in its service economy, manufacturing base, high technology industries, and the financial sector. Examples of this include the surge in tourism in Florida and along the Gulf Coast; numerous new automobile production plants such as Mercedes-Benz in Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Hyundai in Montgomery, Alabama; Toyota Motors in Blue Springs, Mississippi; Kia in West Point, Georgia; the BMW production plant in Greer, South Carolina; Volkswagen in Chattanooga, Tennessee; the GM manufacturing plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee; and the Nissan North American headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee; the two largest research parks in the country: Research Triangle Park in the Triangle area of North Carolina (the world's largest) and the Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, Alabama (the world's fourth largest); and the corporate headquarters of major banking corporations Bank of America in Charlotte; Regions Financial Corporation, AmSouth Bancorporation, and BBVA Compass in Birmingham; SunTrust Banks and the district headquarters of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta; and BB&T in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

As well as Fortune 500 companies, there are several large companies including several paper companies, such as Georgia Pacific in Atlanta and International Paper and Verso Paper in Memphis, as well as FedEx, which is one of the world's largest shipping companies. Fortune 500 companies having headquarters in the region included 20 in Virginia, 16 in Florida, 15 in North Carolina, and 14 in Georgia. This economic expansion has enabled parts of the South to have of some of the lowest unemployment rates in the United States. In Alabama there is a large-scale manufacturing project owned by the German steel megacorporation Thyssen-Krupp, which operates a massive, state-of-the-art facility in Mobile. Company, industry and community leaders mark start of A320 Family aircraft production in Mobile, Alabama in September 2015. In a much-anticipated ceremony today in Mobile, Alabama, Airbus inaugurated operations at its first ever U.S. Manufacturing Facility.
