GREAT GOLF TIPS THAT YOU CAN TRY OUT TODAY!
By Clay Larroy
It does not matter if you are an amateur that confuses
birdies for pigeons or an expert, long-time golfer. The fact is that golf is a
game that requires practice and technical skill, which keeps players of all levels
interested. Before beginning your next game of golf, look at this advice for
improving your skills.
Travel
A helpful tip when it comes to golf is to consider
changing your practice environment. This can be helpful because sometimes all
it takes is a change of scenery for you to either notice a way to improve your
game or get yourself out of a rut. Even if you have to travel farther, it may just be worth it.
Align your feet with the ball to make effective shots.
This can help you better your golf swing. Your goal is to make sure that your
feel are actually perpendicular to where you want any ball you're hitting to
travel. An easy way to check this is to put your club against your toes, so the
end of the club is pointing in the direction the ball will travel.
Be sure you are using appropriate posture to maximize
the impact of your golf swing. Your ball will only go as far as your stance
allows. If you want the ball to travel
a decent distance, you need to find the balance between bending over and standing
up straight. Both slouching and standing too tall can negatively impact your
ability to hit the ball.
Now that you have taken the initiative to learn
something new about the sport of golf, you can impress your golfing buddies (or
that gorgeous pro shop attendant) with the information you've just picked up.
Look for new ways to apply these skills to your current game, to make the game
even more challenging and engaging.
Live, Love and Travel to create
memories that will last a lifetime!
