Each place has a historical importance of its own. Traveling is also a source of great pleasure. It gives us respite from our dull and dreary routine. We can also know the different kinds of food eaten by people belonging to different regions. When you want to plan a vacation contact me!

Vermont is a state that is best enjoyed outdoors. Although it is the only New England state without a seashore, its border with Lake Champlain more than compensates. The largest city, Burlington, affords magnificent views of the water, and has many sporting and recreation areas. Vermont is the USA's third-largest ski state, with 16 alpine resorts and just under 30 for cross-country skiing. Cruise down country lanes to picturesque villages, with white-steeple churches, covered bridges and hillsides ablaze with brilliant colors’ in the autumn. In the spring, sugar maples are tapped for their famous maple syrup, second to none.
Vermont is known as a liberal state and is regarded as one of the most LBGT-friendly states in the US. Same-sex couples from all over the country travel to Vermont in order to be married, although their marriage may not be recognized in their home state. The state has won several accolades and awards for being one of the most healthiest, peaceful and happiest states in the country. The locals are also very proud of their vast green mountainous landscape and their leading export, maple syrup, which brings in tourists from all over the world.

USA TRAVEL GUIDE, “NORTHEAST” NEW HAMPSHIRE

BY CLAY LARROY

NEW HAMPSHIRE: THE GRANITE STATE

People in general consider traveling as their personal interests. Traveling can quickly became an interests simply because it is such an enjoyable experience. When you travel around the world and
you will see a variety of different cultures and people. There are two things to remember while traveling. The first thing is to be open-minded about people and their culture. The second thing and the most important, is to respect other cultures no matter how different. When you want to plan a vacation contact me!

New Hampshire was named after Hampshire, England, by Captain John Mason. New Hampshire is noted for its scenic beauty, from Mount Washington in the northern White Mountains, to the ocean beaches near Hampton. The state is sometimes referred to as the 'Mother of Rivers' and is also known as the 'Granite State', as five of the great streams of New England originate in its granite hills. The state is hilly and rocky, with many areas of dense forests.

In New Hampshire most of the population lives in the southern part of the state closer to Boston, Massachusetts. The state aligns with the social conventions of its region, New England. This region is known for being one of the least religious in the USA, where one in four residents consider themselves without a religion.

Hotels in New Hampshire range from well-known chain brands to small independent hotels. New Hampshire hotels offer a wide choice of options from luxury and mid-range to budget-friendly hotels. There are also many bed and breakfasts spread across New Hampshire, many packed full of character and offering great value for money. Those wanting to explore the great outdoors have plenty of campsites, lodges and cabins to choose from.

USA TRAVEL GUIDE, “NORTHEAST” MAINE

                                      MAINE: THE PINE TREE STATE

By Clay Larroy

We lead such busy lives working, going to school, taking children to different activities that often we do not stop and talk to our children. We usually do not have time to sit around the dinner table and ask our children what they did today. Family vacations are so important, as it gives us a way to connect with each other in a stress free relaxed environment. Families that take vacations together build memories that will last a lifetime. Family vacations and travel can be a most rewarding experience.  When you are ready to plan a vacation contact me!

Maine Ski Resorts

Holidaymakers looking for the ultimate ski vacation should look no further than the northernmost state of Maine. The perfect fit for travelers in the northeast of the United States, picturesque alpine areas and excellent slopes rival those of the famous Rocky Mountains. Popular resorts include Sugarloaf, Saddleback, Sunday River, Shawnee Peak, Big Rock, and Mount Jefferson. Sunday River is generally one of the first ski resorts to open for the season, offering visitors about 743 skiable acres on which to carve out their skills. Sugarloaf has the most skiable terrain, with its Brackett Basin expansion and 1,153 acres of territory making it a common choice. Opportunities are available for everyone, from amateurs and intermediates to those looking to make their way down pristine black diamond runs.

Saddleback
One of New England's most popular ski resorts, Saddleback is nestled in Maine's Rangeley Lakes Region overlooking the town of Rangeley and oozes Alpine charm with its natural beauty and uncrowded slopes. The resort spans 440 acres (178 ha), and boasts 66 runs for all abilities, including the biggest glade in the east at 44 acres (18 ha). Priding itself as one of New England's finest family ski and snowboard resorts, it's a great year-round destination and offers more than just meets the eye. Saddleback is conveniently located close to both Portland and Bangor airports, making travelling with kids a dream, and with a season stretching from November to late April, there's plenty of snow for everyone.

Sugarloaf
Sugarloaf is one of the best ski mountains in the east, celebrated for its incredible terrain and variety, excellent vertical drop and late ski season which can stretch to May. The resort's relative isolation (a four hour drive time from the nearest airport) means quieter slopes even in peak season, while the wide range of activities keeps visitors occupied even if the fairly restricted après ski scene doesn't. The resort is enormous, covering 1,400 acres (560 ha) of skiing terrain, so it's possible to spend a week here and never ski the same run twice.

Sunday River
Located in small town of Newry, Sunday River is one of New England's most visited and celebrated ski resorts and among the most popular in Maine. The resort is more than three miles (5km) wide with terrain suited to skiers of all abilities - in fact, few resorts in the north eastern United States can rival the unique diversity and classic New England skiing of Sunday River. Conveniently located about three hours from Boston, families travelling with kids in tow can enjoy a relatively painless journey to the resort, making it an ideal family holiday destination. Due to the wide variety of terrain, Sunday River is generally free of long queues for ski lifts (great for those with kids) and crowded slopes, making it a great place to let loose and have some fun.

Travel is a great opportunity to learn more things. Time spent abroad helps you understand and appreciate diverse cultures. Look at the article below for a fascinating viewpoint on fishing.

Discover The Fun Of Maine's Outdoor Fishing

Maine has one of the most beautiful clear waters and for the best memories you can get Maine fishing you just need a rod and reel with your tackle box. No matter where you fish, if it's the coast line with more than 5,000 miles or if it’s one of 6,000 lakes and pounds or even one of Maine's river's or streams with the rushing water that can dance with the best of angler's. Because of Maine natural beauty and environment, the state has been visited for many years and for many more years, for its fishing opportunities, a fishing trip is easy and accessible for your whole family. No matter if you are fishing from a boat or off a dock form one of your family’s house or even fishing the shore line, that's what memories are made of, with your family and friends.

Bring in a fighting fish with your pole bent over is a thrill that everyone of all ages and gender enjoys. The state of Maine has such a variety of fish it makes it easy for everyone in the family to enjoy Maine fishing.

There are local guide's that can help you with outfitters and instruction on how to Maine fish so your family has a good fishing trip. Remember no experience is needed to have a fun time Maine fishing. Going fishing with your family you may want to plan some games with the kids and take breaks to eat and warm water fishing is the easiest to catch fish and this will give the kids and beginners the best chance to catch fish.

Maine has quite a few fisheries you can visit and learn about the fish in Maine, you also can learn about the fisheries harvest. One of the place's you can go is Marine Resources Aquarium in West Boothbay harbor where they have a variety of live fish that live in Maine's coastal waters. One more place you can go is Gray, Maine Wildlife Park where they have all the stages from young to the large trout in the pool where you can feed the large trout. Maine species of fish both live in part of fresh water and salt, so Maine put in fish ladders for all the dams that are in Maine so the fish can migrate.

The key to Maine fishing is having some knowledge of the species you are fishing for. Don't forget even the best of anglers need to have some luck. Not all fish respond the same to daily temperature changes and seasons. So, this is where a good guide can come in handy for your Maine fishing trip, he will outfit your needs and give you the information you need also. The more skill you have the better your fishing trip will be, but as you know timing is important, but remember fun is the number one thing.

Maine fishing of the coast line is unlimited for all ages and genders and no matter of your skills. I found no matter what I do or what bait I fish the Maine salt waters fishing has so many methods. Maine's coast line has so many opportunities, you can fish for the exciting striped bass or even catch a bluefish or jig for mackerel, even go out and catch the powerful blue fin tuna off a charter boat, theirs are cod, haddock, and so much more.

In the state of Maine there is no license needed to fish the Maine shore lines. Maine does have restrictions, like stripers have a length requirement and only certain months you can fish them, you can pick up a requirement book up at any Wal-Mart or anywhere they sell fish license, if you are fishing with a guide, they will have that knowledge for you. One of the protected species is the Atlantic sturgeon, you cannot take one of those. Also, lobster and crab traps cannot be harvested without a permit, even if they get to shore somehow you are not allowed to remove.

Maine has one of the most beautiful wildernesses with rivers and streams that flow through it for some of the best fishing. Maine also has a great number of lakes and pounds with green forest and mountain back grounds that are breath taking. Maine fishing in the lakes and ponds have so many species, like smallmouth bass, largemouth bass and all the trout just gives so much excitement to any and all anglers. Maine's fresh water fishing also has good local guides that can make your Maine fishing experience even better. Also, with fresh water fishing are all the camp grounds that the state of Maine has. Maine fresh water fish does require a fishing license and have requirements on the fish so make sure you pick up a fishing guide book so you can keep your Maine fishing trip the best memory of all.
